With Thanksgiving next week, the last thing we want to see this weekend is anything turkey-and-dressing related. Even cosmos are a little too much cranberry for us right now. That’s because we want eating all our traditional family favorites to be a novel experience—as unique as an experience can be that happens every year. Luckily, there’s plenty going on this weekend that’ll distract us from the feast that awaits next Thursday. Among them, a holiday market to get a jump on shopping at Fair Park, an elaborate light display in Fort Worth, a Winter Wine-derland in Addison, and a much-needed fitness race at the Hilton Anatole to help burn some extra calories ahead of Turkey Day. So, line up for the buffet of entertaining delights and sample from one of eight fun things to do around DFW this weekend.
